Gone For Too Long

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here but I I’m glad I’m back. The past couple of weeks has been pretty rough and tight. It’s a lot I have to share and I can’t wait to share it with you all. My summer has been so much; I have been out of town at least twice. This past time was for a church convention. I was in this Bible Bowl contest. I studied really hard and it paid off too.

We went down to Hazel Hurst Georgia on Wednesday of last week and had a fun time. We did our stomp that we had been practicing for months on that Thursday; the people loved it. At first I was kind of nervous but I fought through it and stomped my hardest. On that Wednesday we had to take a test. My little cousins and my little brother as well as myself had been studying for this. So it was time to take the “BIG TEST.”

I prayed and took the test it wasn’t really hard like the other people said it was. So Saturday night came and it was time to find out the winners. My brother and little cousin was first up with the other contestants and they won first. I was so happy for them I was screaming and jumping around. Then time came for me and the older contestants and make a long story short, I WON FIRST TOO WOOOO. My church had won both of the first place trophies.

Hard Worker

I have been busy all week; doing all kinds of stuff and helping everyone. I had to cut grass, plan my brother party, buy fireworks, teach some kids a step, and study for my yearly bible bowl. All that work and no play had my week upside down. But it did come with it rewards; my dad gave me ten dollars for cutting the grass. I went to the movies with that money; I seen that new transformer movies it was off the chain; the best movie this year to me so far. I also had to give money to my brother for his B-Day so my pockets was kinda empty too.

His birthday was on Friday the same day I had to teach the step to the kids. So instead of having his party that day I came up with the idea that we have it Saturday on the 4th. So today we BBQ and bought lots of fireworks for him and he wanted to have a water balloon fight. So like they say its a time to play and its a time to work; I already worked so I’m about to go have some fun!!!!

Mr. Up and Down

Well this week was really good; my sister had gave me some money to go and get my ears pierced. Only I couldn’t because I’m going to basic leadership training next month. One of the requirements are you can’t have earrings in; and if I get them I will have to keep the in for six weeks. So I’m going to have to wait until I get back from training.
What really messed my whole week up was my little brother coming in the house telling me Michael Jackson had died. I thought right off back he was just playing, but to hear my mom confirm; it was just sad. I spent the rest of the week listening to him and watching him on T.V. It didn’t really sink in until today. I know people will miss him.

My Week in Florida

We had been planning this trip to Florida since last year. We wanted it to be the best trip ever. We had planned to go to Universal Studios and Isalnd of Adventures. I knew this trip was gonna be fun no adults everywhere we went it was perfect. On the way down there everyone was excited and happy for about two seconds, then we were sleep. We had gotten up around 5:00 so of course we were tired.

We stopped on the way down there at Denny’s and got something to eat. It took us seven hours to get down there; we were staying in the Marriott Grand Vista; that hotel was HUGE. I had a room with my brother and every one else had to stay with their parents lol. As soon as we got there we settled in and went swimming; their pool was the biggest I had ever seen. It was great.

When we went to the park they had informed us that we had the special ticket. Which meant we could go to the park anytime we wanted for that whole week and Universal Studios. The days kinda went by rather fast I guess I wish we could of stayed the whole month. That Saturday night our last night there we went to the City Walk to see Jordan Sparks perform. She really can sin, but the only thing i hated about this trip was packing up; I left two shirts there lol. But overall it was the best trip I had ever been on.
